Russia is a massive country with lots to see and do as long as you know where you are going. If you have already bought the tickets to Moscow but aren’t sure where you’ll go then pack your things, set up with ADT or whatever your security choice, but be sure to check out our article, first. We are counting down the top three places in Moscow to visit.
1. The Kremlin
Missing this place is like going to New York City without seeing the Statue of Liberty. There are many fine churches to visit in this area and a world-renown Diamond collection rests safe and sound in the armory.
2. Red Square
Considered to be the heart of Moscow, two of the most breathtaking attractions in the area are the Lenin Mausoleum and the St. Basil Cathedral. Debate still rages about whether the body in the Lenin Mausoleum is truly that of Vladimir Lenin, and perhaps you too will be able to weigh-in after you see it.
3. The Institute of Russian Realist Art (IRRA)
Get a firsthand look at the most incredible collection of art available from the XX-XXI centuries.
And remember that, no matter where you go in Russia, there is nothing more important than safety. Keep an eye on your belongings and your identification and, if you can manage it, please do not travel alone.
